MY CUTE LITTLE PISTA FLOWER!!!!

while i was busy decorating the box with pista shells...i was also busy creating these pista shells flower......and i must credit my neighbour friend ...as she loves making flower with tissue paper and ribbons..actually it happened this way...we were discussing different ways of making flower and during that conversation this idea popped into my head.."why not i try making flower with pista shells." And after so many trials i came up with this pista flowers......they may not be accurate but still look cute. IS'NT IT!! when i had shown to my husband instantly he asked me ...."they are cute but how i would be using them? " that is when i thought to add its usage. SOME OF THE WAYS WE CAN USE THEM!! Decor...

SHIFTING TO NEW HOME.....

Last two weeks has been really hectic for me…as I had just moved into my new home…and just finished unpacking the cartons…I must say, “shifting”is a big headache….!! But I am still not through with arranging the stuff….it would take another two weeks it seems… but it wouldn’t stop me from blogging anywayz.... These fevicol paintings I had presented to my friends..as a house warming gift when they had shifted to their new home around 3months back….what a sweet coincident that I m blogging about these when I am myself shifted to a new home. Here is the tutorial for the fevicol painting 1. Take a base ,could be a marble slab,tiles,plywood( which i have taken)...anything you can think of. 2. Now draw a design on the base,i have drawn it with normal pencil...

REUSE OF OLD CLOTHES!!!

These three kurtas have been made out of my husband's old shirts....for my son kavish. for this maroon kurta i have just embroidered on the neckline and the button placket...(given a formal look).. Simply chain stitch and sequence work has been done. The pic above is for a better view of the embroidery. for this white kurta ...i thought ..hand painting would be a better idea. On this blue kurta ,at first i thought of doing a very fine embroidery all over,but then i changed my mind and came up with this cute teddy bear ...again chain stitch for the diagonal lines and back stitch for the outlining.
