So how was your weekend?
I had enrolled myself in new "hobby".......Crochet!
Yes crochet,
about two weeks back i had my first class, &you won't believe that first 20 minutes i just struggled making my first knot.......LOL!Then i got stuck with single crochet.....just not getting it!Ufffffffffff why did i got into it at the first place!But anyhow after practicing at home...i think i am doing better.We get homework also so here are the piks of what i have learnt till now.
Single crochet...............

Double crochet is the yellow one.
This was just a trial...playing with the yarn and stiches,and came out really cute.I would be making a longer version of it for door corners....
This is a head band....used only Double crochet.

My little one had his first dance concert at his school,and he was dressed in typical Omani dishdasha (Omani's traditional dress)OOOO he was looking sho cute!I don't know how to share but it was such a good feeling to see him tapping here and there,missing few steps but on the whole I JUST LOVED IT!!wish i could share the vedio with all of you.
My son also, has just completed his first year of his school and enjoying his holidays...so i thought of presenting a small gift to her teacher on behalf of him.......These paper clip holder were presented to her.
Surprises are always beautifull...is'nt it! &specially when you get it from your 3.5yr old kid....wana have a look...here it is....i can see creative mind working.
when i asked him what it is,he said " CAKE WITH A FACE".and then he sung to me Happy b'day.
OOOOhhhhhh! Completely overwhelmed.
