So you need some quick, easy, last-minute decoration for your living room... huh? And also need to add some color to the room .You could easily whip this up few hrs. before any occassion. You could even have the kids help too! If you are under a burn ban....here's the tutorial!!
Take any old cylendrical box i have used liquor box.
Then take coloured corrugated sheets.
cut them into strips..depending upon the size of the box.
then take glittered foam which can be easily available at any craft store.
cut it into the square shapes..3x3cm..this size was suited best for my project.
cover the box with the strips and randomly glue (glue gun has been used) the foam squares on it.
for bottom i have taken white glittered foam strip(cut with the paper cutter).
Are not these butterfly cute..long ago i had learnt these from one of my friend....they have been made with old magzine paper..you could also use any scrapbook papers for the butterfly's. LOVE it! So darn cute!... That's my favorite part...finally aparna i make use of the butterfly tutorial ,thanks.. You can read more about her project here. Make sure you tell her that she is amazing and she needs to create more scrappy goodness!
