As you know i have participated in "Googly eyes challenge" mentioned in my last post...but frankly ,was not satisfied with merely painted googly eyes on my smileys...
Here is an attempt to make googly eyes at home itself...because i couldn't get THE GOOGLY EYES in my nearest craft supply store.I wouldn't say that they are exactly the same stuff but looks as cute as any googly eyes....
Kids above 4 can easily make it, ofcourse along with guidance....and the material for it....you can easily find it in your home....
Requires: Foam plate, clay(black color), plastic cling wrap, black marker, double tape.
Step 1: draw eyes on a foam plate.
WoW!! just completed making few EYES....LOL!!
Now how do we use it?
I already thought of making a number and letters banner for my sons birthday... numbers i had already prepared long before i came to know about this challenge...so i was only left with letters ... so what did i do is , i pasted those googly eyes onto the letters....
These are the numbers which were already prepared....
These are the alphabets preparing for the challenge.... along with the tutorial...I must say that Googly eyes has really added more cuteness to the banner.
Step 1: Take any glitter sheet...i have taken the sequence sheet.
Finally cut them ......yuppy!!
Simply attach the ABC on to the wool string or any other string of your choice....
I am sure your kid will enjoy pasting it and at the same time learning it.
now thats what i call "LEARNING WITH FUN"

Step 3: roughly place the clay ball onto the eye...
Step4; take the cling wrap and wrap the eye...cut extra plastic from back.
here are the googly eyes ready...after this simply take double tape and stick to your project.

Step 3: stick double tape at back...as shown in pik.
Step 4: now stick the ABC onto the chart paper.
Step 5: now stick the googly eyes...and the mouth for the smiley.
Finally cut them ......yuppy!!
Simply attach the ABC on to the wool string or any other string of your choice....
Put double tape at a distance......
Now stick ABC on to the string....
I am sure your kid will enjoy pasting it and at the same time learning it.
