The festival is marked by the tying of a rakhi, or holy thread, by the sister on the wrist of her brother. The brother in return offers a gift to his sister and vows to look after her....
last to last month my inlaws had comeover to spend few days with us....and i must say they really enjoyed their stay with their grandson... and during their stay...i was busy completing my rakhi's because i had, very limited time...as i had planned to send rakhi's with them for my brother.
Even till last day i was giving finishing touch to the rakhi's...so you can imagine...THANK GOD!!...somehow managed to complete it on time...this you can see in the pics below ...with less time in hand, could not give a nice background to the images....
